The Transalp modelled around Honda’s success in the Paris-Dakar, it’s a dual-sport "Rally-Touring” motorcycle and this model was in production from 1987 to the mid 90’s. Manufactured for both long road trips with the ability to combine some off-road. It features a front and rear disc brakes, Pro-Link suspension, a liquid-cooled, six-valve four-stroke 52 degrees V-twin engine giving it enough power and comfort to make the Transalp a good choice for adventure touring. It performs as well combining dirt and forest roads with an easy-handling street bike. The Transalp is closely related to its big brother the 750cc Africa Twin.
